When it comes to iconic New Orleans landmarks, few places stir up more pride than the Caesars Superdome. It’s where legends are made, second lines break out in the stands, and the spirit of the Crescent City shines brightest. And now, thanks to Tinteaux and Jean, it’s also a showcase for smart, stylish privacy.

Last week, Tinteaux and Jean didn’t just show up to their networking group—they showed out. Armed with samples, stats, and a whole lot of Tintelligence™, they turned a routine meeting into a masterclass on Visible Light Transmission (VLT) and why it matters for homes and businesses across New Orleans.

At NOLA Window Cleaning and Tint, we believe every surface has potential—especially when it comes to combining privacy, performance, and New Orleans flair. Recently, I (Jean) teamed up with my tinting partner Tinteaux to tackle a unique challenge: installing window film on plexiglass office partitions that needed both privacy and personality.

If you were cruising down St. Bernard Avenue in New Orleans last week, you might’ve spotted a curious scene: a ladder, a roll of film, and one very determined mascot named Tinteaux. That’s right—me and my trusty sidekick were on a mission to protect a local commercial storefront from vandalism with a fresh install of anti-graffiti window film.

The cicadas buzzed lazily as Jean pulled up to a shotgun house tucked between pastel cottages in the Bywater. The homeowner, Miss Loretta, greeted them with a tray of lemon icebox cookies and a story about how her transoms had seen every Mardi Gras since 1947.

Jean eased the van through the iron gate off Royal Street as Tinteaux tipped his baseball cap and surveyed the Fleur de Lys Boutique Hotel. Century-old single-pane windows gleamed under the sun, while inside the rooms struggled to stay cool despite pounding A/C.

On a warm, moonlit night in the Marigny, Jean spots that the “Crescent City Canvas” mural is already losing its vibrancy under the sun’s glare. She calls on her trusty partner, Tinteaux, to help deliver a custom Tintelligence™ window film solution that guarantees UV protection, glare reduction, and long-term color preservation.

Tinteaux fired up the NOLA Window Cleaning & Tint company van—black and gold with Tintelligence™ decals gleaming in the late-afternoon sun. Jean slid into the passenger seat, sketchbook in hand and tint ready. They navigated down Prytania Street, engine humming a smooth jazz rhythm as they bounded toward Dumas Manor.

Jean’s inbox pinged with a VIP request from the St. Claude Art Collective in Gretna. An architecturally stunning gallery perched beside the Mississippi bend was hosting its annual “Bayou Brushes” exhibit—but floor-to-ceiling windows meant relentless sun fading delicate canvases. With Tinteaux by her side and Tintelligence™ at the ready, Jean knew this was Gretna window tinting at its finest.

Jean’s phone buzzed with an urgent Westbank window tinting request from Bayou Brews & Bites. She and Tinteaux hopped into the Tintelligence™ van—equipped for commercial window film installations—and rolled onto the Greater New Orleans Bridge. As they cruised over the Mississippi River, the sunrise reflected off the new solar control window film they installed downtown, reminding Jean why energy-saving window tint is in such high demand in New Orleans.

The morning light danced across the centuries-old brick walls of the Veaux Carré courtyard as Jean and Tinteaux arrived, greeted by the comforting aroma of chicory coffee and freshly fried beignets. Wrought-iron balconies framed the scene, their curling patterns casting lace-like shadows on the cobblestones. A dozen neighborhood association members sat around a polished oak table, their clipboards and curious gazes ready for the big pitch.
