Episode 11: Tinteaux Learns How to Sell Tintelligence

Published on 1 August 2025 at 09:28

Jean stands in the shop, Tinteaux at her side, clipboard in hand. Today’s mission: teach our mascot to present Tintelligence™ for home and office windows.

The Briefing

Jean: “Tinteaux, remember—our customers worry about harsh sun, fading furniture, and nosy neighbors. We solve that with Tintelligence™, wrapped in genuine New Orleans charm.”

Tinteaux: “Understood. Cool rooms, protected fabrics, privacy won. But how do I open?”

Jean: “Start with a friendly greeting, then ask something they feel:

  • “Looking to keep that French Quarter sunlight from stealing your comfort?”

  • “Want a window film that wards off UV while adding a little Mardi Gras flair?”

Tinteaux practices: “Laissez les bons temps rouler—while blocking those blazing rays!”

Five Golden Rules

Jean sketches on the whiteboard:

  1. Speak Soul-to-Soul • Weave in local touches (beignets, second-line parades, wrought-iron balconies).

  2. Show the Proof • Display a window demo board with before/after temperature and UV readings.

  3. Personalize the Solution • “For your attic office, SunTek films gives glare relief and keeps your workspace bright.”

  4. Keep It Friendly and Concise • Skip technical jargon—sell benefits: cooler rooms, protected décor, peaceful privacy.

  5. End with a Jingle • “When sunshine meets art, Tintelligence™ plays its part!”

Live Practice

A “homeowner” puppet enters, looking around.

Tinteaux (with flourish): “Bonjour! Ready to turn those bayou-view windows into your personal oasis?”

Homeowner (puppet voice): “Show me the magic.”

Tinteaux points to the demo board, narrates the temperature drop, and delivers the jingle. Jean gives a celebratory second-line whistle as the puppet applauds.

Tips GIVE TO TINTEAUX for Next Time

  • Refine gestures: open palms, steady eye contact.

  • Tailor examples: reference specific rooms—nursery, sunroom, home office.

  • Offer a follow-up: a “Tintelligence™ Care & Style Guide” handout.

With that - a successful training has come to an end.
