EPISODE 5: Slidell Heat - How We Beat the Bayou Sun

Slidell called, and Jean answered — tool belt strapped, roll of SunTek film gleaming, and Tinteaux stretching beside the rig like he was prepping for a jazz solo. The East Side of the window tinting corridor was heating up, and a ranch-style home off Gause Boulevard was practically radiating SOS signals from its bay windows.

“I’ve got the contract in hand, and you’ve got the charm,” Jean said, checking the measurements each pane.

Tinteaux snapped his shades into place. “Let’s give Slidell a taste of New Orleans tint magic, boss.”

The homeowner greeted them outside — sweating, sun-blinded, and curious. “Y’all really drove out from the city?”

“We cross bridges, boroughs, and bad weather,” Jean replied, “all for the love of quality residential window tinting in Slidell LA.”

Inside, the glare was intense. The den felt more like a greenhouse than a living room. Jean set to work with surgical precision while Tinteaux kept spirits high, regaling the client with tales from Metairie and Mandeville.

With SunTek's heat-blocking tint installed, the transformation was instant. The light softened. The temperature dropped. The homeowner went from sweaty to serene in minutes.

“You should call this a window wellness service,” she said, twirling in the newly cooled room.

Jean chuckled. “We call it tint therapy — with results faster than a po’boy disappearing at a Saints tailgate.”

As they packed up, Tinteaux looked at Jean.  “This job deserves a snack break.”  Jean laughed. “Let’s feed the windows first. Snacks can wait 'til we finish the Chalmette job.”
